Maayan Zvi is a great place indeed. I was a (Belgian/Flemish) volunteer and ulpanist there in the mid eighties. I also met you in London and Gilo (?).
It will probably be a very different life for you as well. I have the impression that Israël and the kibbutzim have gone trough some fundamental changes over the past 20 years.
I'll keep an eye on this blog to see how things are working out for you and your family.
